Many Americans are no longer open to traditional forms of evangelism, most know very little about the stories in the Bible. Through our work in the Amazon Region in Brazil we are developing Storying Techniques that also catch the attention of the Post-Modern Americans.
Our one hour workshop will introduce and begin to equip your people to share biblical truths through Bible Storying. Believers can share stories in all sorts of settings as an effective form of Evangelism that is not confrontational.

The Storying workshop is an excellent way to introduce and begin to equip your people to reach Post-Moderns and others in a very natural manner. Our work shop will: introduce and explain the idea of Storying, and teach them stories to share with others in their daily lives. It will give them tips on: storytelling, staying true to the Scriptures and using stories to help nonbelievers understand spiritual truths. Additional resources for further study will also be provided. Our workshop is great for Small Groups, Bible Studies, Adult Bible School and stand alone 1-2 hour evening workshops. Post-Moderns

“Post-Modern” is a word which sums up the way much of America thinks. It includes the idea that there is no objective, absolute truth and that truth is what you believe it to be. Something can be true for you, but not true for me. It also encompasses choice as an important virtue in our consumer society. Choice extends to value systems, beliefs, and lifestyle selections. All are seen as equally valid. Religious beliefs are mixed and matched according to whatever you feel comfortable with. Storying is a tool that can slice though these false ideas in a non-confrontational manner. Stories are easy to share and can generate thought proving and life changing discussions.

Storying has been around since the time of Christ. Almost 75 percent of the Bible is stories. The Scriptures are full of many stories that are of interest to adults, especial nonbelievers. Stories of battles, intrigue and the challenges of life. Each with a moral lesson with threads of the Gospel message woven throughout. When used individually or combined in a story track they can capture the interest of the listener and become an effective tool for sharing with nonbelievers and leading them to the person of Jesus Christ. Storying is not teaching kids Bible stories but a dynamic way of sharing God's Word.
